Priscilla’s Puzzles is an informative and fun companion workbook which compliments Evelyn Dunbar Webb’s previous book – The Word Collector perfectly! The Word Collector is a beautiful book which takes children on a journey of learning as well as adventure. It is a book my eldest child loved, and so already I would implore you lovely readers to have your children or children you know to read it!
Priscilla’s Puzzles is an incredible and well-organized workbook which is organized into perfect sections which are accessible. This book is full of worksheets, writing prompts, as well as information on how to write specific sentences as well as a whole lot more! It is the perfect book for children that will have them learn language skills correctly and flawlessly! In my review of The Word Collector, I expressed how I am very keen for my children to learn proper grammar skills so I was delighted when I found that this book was full of wonderful facts that my children could easily learn. Priscilla’s Puzzles is the perfect companion to help aid in my child’s learning and yours too!
This book is a brilliant book because it is informational but fun at the same time! It is an entertaining, exciting, enjoyable read that my eldest child adored! This is all thanks to the incredible talent that is Evelyn Dunbar Webb. Webb is a flawless writer, and this was clear to me ever since reading The Word Collector. She writes with fluidity and elegance and a ton of imagination. Her words leap off the page, so much so that they will pull your child in and make them want to learn. Webb presents a strong emphasis that learning is fun and I loved this! Learning is fun, and more books need to express this, especially when they are aimed at children. Webb honestly does have a way of speaking to and engaging children, and for that, I thank her! She is a talented, incredible writer and so I would implore all of you lovely readers to buy this exceptional book!
To conclude my thoughts on this charming children’s book I would say if you are looking for the perfect children’s learning book in time for Christmas then this stunning book is for you! Your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends children… all children will adore this book! So I implore all of you lovely readers to buy this.
