In an attempt to halt the rapidly escalating attacks on Minotaur Resource assets, the CEO of the company, George Pollard, instructs his Operations Manager to organize a strike force to work for Minotaur and deal with threats to company assets.

He contacts Captain Thomas Ritter who has recently served in Afghanistan, to lead the team. Ritter takes up the challenge and with the assistance of Major Peter Cornish, puts together a team of ex-military from around the world.

Ritter and Cornish must mould the individual soldiers into a team, men who carry both the emotional and physical scars of the warrior.

It is not long before their mettle is tested when a Minotaur Resources oil platform off the Falkland Islands is threatened by a force of Argentine Marines. In a battle for their very lives, the team achieves its mission and returns to London but is soon presented with another serious threat to the companies assets.

Somali pirates have hijacked a Minotaur owned supertanker, holding the ship to ransom for five million dollars. The team is ordered to re-take the ship and release its hostages but the mission does not go exactly to plan and they find themselves in a fight for their lives in an attempt to complete their objective.

The story of Horns of the Minotaur is one that is flawlessly developed with no stone left unturned. The incredible author of Horns of the Minotaur, David Ross Wood has managed to craft and develop a highly entertaining story that weaves many suspenseful themes. I admit, there are a lot of themes laced throughout this book, and at first, I thought that it would be difficult to blend them together, and with any author, this may be the case. Wood, however, is a talented writer and so he perfectly combines all themes in this book which is a hard talent to accomplish.

David Ross Wood is an incredible author who is clearly creative because his work is beyond the norm and weaves a fascinating story that is entertaining, original and intricate. I am genuinely impressed with how well Wood has developed his story because from the start the foundations were set and from that point onwards he just continued to develop the plot and expand on it which was incredible to be a part of. The descriptive powers courtesy of Wood laced throughout the book are brilliant, Wood so perfectly describes the events in the book that the reader will be able to immerse themselves in the story. Firstly I would like to thank Aimee Ann for her kind review. It is obvious that she has a real passion for books and this is apparent not only in her enthusiastic reviews but in the conversations that we had throughout the whole review process.
I wanted to write a book that would not only keep the reader interested with its fast paced action, but it had to remain credible and detailed as a believable story line is extremely important to me. Horns of the Minotaur is my first novel and was quickly followed up by the sequel Kneel to the Fallen and I am very proud of both pieces of work. I hope the readers out there enjoy it as much as I loved writing it, Both novels and other works are available at
