I want to thank you, Aimee Ann, for giving my novel a read. This was a very difficult book for mr to write in many ways, having drawn on some of my own experiences as a parent to build and develop my main character, Jess Porter. I wanted people to see who she is, her complexities, strengths and failings. Ultimately, I am hopeful that readers end up rooting for her as they turn the pages.
